It can be a dangerous game when a wife puts her husband on a pedestal and idolizes him. While men may enjoy the ego boost, it can lead to problems when the woman becomes too emotionally dependent on him.

Both men and women have natural sexual needs that can be met with understanding, love, and concern for each other. However, insecurity can drive a woman to seek validation by boosting his ego. She can get more love that way when she is pretty or manipulative. When she is blue or lonely, she turns the man on. He, in turn, responds to her sexually, and that makes her feel secure.

Damaging Dynamic

This cycle of reassurance can create a damaging dynamic where the man feels weakened and pulls away. She cannot help wanting him, any more than he can help rejecting her because of her wanting him. Her “want” causes psychic damage to him that he cannot explain.

The sexual aspect of marriage may not be beneficial for either party involved unless the timing is right and both partners are in agreement. It is only by letting go of any resentment caused by the other’s demands that one can truly understand the impact it has on their response.

Primarily, it is crucial to eliminate any lingering resentment, as it can lead to internal conflict. One may feel trapped, unsure of whether to act or refrain from doing so.

What a woman truly wants, above all else, is the presence of the man, to be held by him. Nevertheless, it is essential to approach this with the right mindset. There is a right way and a wrong way. The man should not be the woman’s dependent, rather, she should be his.

Patience and Understanding

Once one comprehends and empathizes with these dynamics, the fear surrounding intimacy will dissipate. In those instances where mistakes are made, it is important not to harbor resentment towards one another. Instead, strive to cultivate understanding and patience for your partner.
