Let’s chat about something that’s a bit deep but totally worth exploring. It’s the journey to discovering your true character, and ultimately, your divine nature. Spoiler alert: it’s not always a walk in the park! In fact, it often starts with a lonely detour called solitude.

Stepping Away

Now, when we talk about being separate from the world, it might sound a bit dramatic. But hear me out. Sometimes, to really delve deep and unearth our authentic selves, we have to step away from the noise, the distractions, and yes, even the people in our lives. Yes, it feels isolating, and it can be lonely, but this is where the magic begins! In those moments of solitude, personal transformation becomes possible.

Imagine this: you feel a twinge of loneliness creeping in. Maybe you’re yearning for human company, that sweet sense of connection. That craving is often linked to the false nature in you, seeking support. You have to bear that, and it will pass. We sometimes cling to others for happiness, thinking they’ll fill that void. But if you can’t find happiness without people, you’ll never find happiness with them. When you find happiness within yourself without people, then you can find happiness with them.

An Inner Glow

So, what’s the plan? You’ve got to embrace isolation. It’s a necessary part of the journey. When you learn to be content with just you, you’ll eventually discover that genuine happiness—a happiness that isn’t contingent on anyone else’s presence. It becomes an inner glow that doesn’t flicker out with changing circumstances or company. Solitude fuels this inner glow.

However, there’s a risk that can come from being happy and successful within yourself. Has someone in your life ever leached off your energy? They’re the ones who are rude to you one minute, and the next minute they are overly nice to you. They pretend as if nothing has happened, so then they won’t say they’re sorry. They latch on, seeking your joy to fill their own emptiness. It’s like they have these sticky tentacles reaching out for your happiness and support.

It’s Self-Preservation

What you need to remember is this: your journey is yours alone. If you start to let those folks cling to your light, you risk dimming it. The best way to handle this? Recognize it for what it is! Call them out, set those boundaries, and don’t feel guilty about maintaining your space. Admonish them if you must, and don’t shy away from pushing them away. It’s not being rude; it’s self-preservation!

It’s all part of your character development. Just like the butterfly emerging from its cocoon, sometimes you have to shove away the things that threaten your transformation. You’re not just navigating a journey. You’re building your character and your connection to something greater, be it your divine nature or your relationship with God.

So, as you embark on this journey, embrace the solitude. Bear with the loneliness; it will pass. Because when you finally find that happiness within yourself through solitude, you’ll not only be more equipped to connect with others meaningfully, but you’ll also recognize and avoid those who drain your energy.

In the end, the aim is to be happy with or without others. And when you get there, the connections you forge will be more genuine and fulfilling. Happy exploring!
