She is seeking in her spouse what she shouldn’t be getting from him. It drains a man to give his substance to a clinging vine. It threatens and burdens him, and may lead him to withdraw to escape from her.

Inner Security

Individuals must cultivate their sense of inner security and wholeness within themselves. Relying on others for a sense of security can result in disappointment, as people may inadvertently use and hurt us. This can lead to feelings of anger and resentment, ultimately intensifying our insecurities. 

In such instances, your anger may cause you to feel guilty and question your worthiness. Paradoxically, the person who is causing you harm may appear more “right” than you, leading you to cling to him in an attempt to get the right from him, again and again. When you cling again, he will hurt you again. This cycle often repeats itself as you burden him with expectations he should not have to bear. 

You are seeking love and validation from him because of your insecurity. You put him on a pedestal, hoping that something will rub off on you by doing that. It is not healthy to obtain the “rightness” that you think that person has. When you understand that you must find security within yourself, you will eliminate the need to constantly seek it from others.

Realize that what you are looking for, nobody in this world has to give you. Be mindful of this need, and you will find what you are looking for by not looking for it in others. You will find it within yourself.
