The vast majority of man/woman relationships, particularly intimate relationships, are riddled with flaws and dysfunction. It is not uncommon for these relationships to initially appear flawless, especially during the euphoric phase of being romantically “in love”. However, this illusion of perfection ultimately gives way to a profound sense of dissatisfaction, conflicts, and arguments, and may end up in physical violence.

Love/Hate Cycle

Love relationships can quickly transform into hate relationships, characterized by withdrawal of affection, hostility, or emotional attacks. It is widely accepted that this transition is a normal occurrence in man/woman relationships.

In relationships, the love/hate rollercoaster can be thrilling at first. It’s like a drug that makes you feel alive and normal. But when the pain becomes more intense and increasingly frequent, the relationship inevitably collapses.

Solutions:

Emotional love between two individuals is an incredibly unhealthy relationship. Society perpetuates this kind of love through books, movies, and other mediums. The solution to this age-old dilemma has eluded humanity for centuries. Every new generation embarks on their romantic endeavors with their eyes wide shut, repeating the same mistakes as their parents, grandparents, etc., tracing back to the very beginning.

Those wise enough to learn from the mistakes of others will be able to start a new generation of people who will understand the hidden meanings of their relationships, know what not to do, and be successful and happy with whomever they relate to.
