Have you ever found yourself feeling upset or frustrated because of not knowing what to do? It’s a common experience and one that can weigh us down if we allow it to. But here’s the thing. Feeling upset because you don’t know what to do is just another form of sickness. We have to learn to overcome it. Feel the pain of not knowing without resenting it.
When we’re faced with a decision, we must stay calm. If we are in a situation that leaves us feeling unsure of what steps to take, we must remain composed. Don’t get upset because you don’t know what to do. Don’t try to figure it all out with your mind. We should not let ourselves get caught up in the struggle to know.
Instead, it’s okay to acknowledge the feelings of not knowing what to do and simply say, “I don’t know.” There is no shame in admitting when we’re unsure about something. Being capable of embracing our uncertainty can be incredibly liberating.
It’s important not to dwell on our lack of knowledge. We should not become upset with ourselves for not having all the answers. Resenting ourselves for not knowing what to do only serves as a barrier to progress. Instead, try practicing patience and trust that clarity will come in time.
Do Nothing
One helpful rule of thumb is simple: Do nothing until it looks clear. This way, it is obvious which way to go. It may seem counterintuitive. But, sometimes, doing nothing and allowing things to unfold naturally can lead us towards the right path. This can happen without overthinking or forcing decisions.
Another important aspect is learning how to take action without resistance from your conscience. Doing so without the pain of conscience allows for more peace within oneself. This is especially important while navigating through situations where uncertainty prevails. That is the way to the Truth.
